The objective of this session was to provide an essential opportunity to connect a number of groups and networks who are directly involved in ensuring effective monitoring of the Goals, supporting data gathering efforts as well as mobilizing civil society stakeholders for joint monitoring and reporting to promote solutions that leave no one behind. The session aimed to address the question: "How can we build effective joint approaches for monitoring & data gathering on the SDGs?"
